A blend of Grenache Blanc, Viognier and Clairette, the 2021 Cotes du Rhone Le Caillou Blanc delivers plenty of fruit: tangerine, pineapple, stone fruit and lemon notes may all be found on the nose, while the medium-bodied palate is crisp and tart. It may lack a bit of richness and concentration, but it’s an attractive, early-drinking effort.
