Chablis 1er Cru Les Vaillons (0.375 L)
The 2015 Chablis 1Er Cru Vaillons, which is completely aged in stainless steel, has light apple blossom, grapefruit, Japanese yuzu and just a faint hint of mango. The palate is well balanced with a keen thread of acidity, nice weight in the mouth with a little fieriness lingering on the tongue after the wine has departed. Not bad, though like many Chablis from this vintage, a wine that I would prefer to meet sooner rather than later.
