Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru La Maltroie (0.75 L)

Pungent aromas reflect notes of zest, floral pear and plenty of petrol character. The very rich and relatively full-bodied flavors are clearly quite ripe yet there is solid supporting acidity shaping the lingering finish. This is not particularly refined but it doesn’t lack for character or complexity.
