Clos de Vougeot (1.5 L)

BH:This is really quite floral in character with unusually elegant red berry fruit, especially red currant scents that display plenty of soil tones. There is fine volume and excellent mid-palate density to the medium-bodied flavors that are supported by markedly firm but not aggressive tannins on the moderately austere and impressively persistent finish. This is very much a classic Clos de Vougeot and patience will absolutely be required as I don’t see this being particularly approachable young.
