Corton Charlemagne (1.5 L)

A lightly wooded nose features super-fresh aromas of Granny Smith apples, along with citrus confit, fennel and a hint of spicy exotic tea. There is again excellent volume and richness to the caressing but powerful and muscular larger-scaled flavors that exude a refreshing salinity on the superbly long finish. This could use better depth but that should come if allowed at least a few years of cellaring.
