Montrachet Marquis de Laguiche (0.75 L)
BH:There is still a touch of wood framing the overtly exotic aromas that are still quite primary and fresh. I like the sense of energy to the impressively scaled yet very well-detailed broad-shouldered flavors that possess an opulent mouth feel on the mid-palate though the finish is clean, markedly dry and impressively long. The sole reproach I have is that the complexity of the finest vintages is not present though to be fair, this is still at least 4 to 5 years away from its apogee. I have tasted this big boy twice in 2014 with consistent notes.
