Musigny (0.75 L)
BH:The most complex nose of any of these wines with violets, plum, anise, underbrush, black fruit and smoked meat that is followed by classy and very pure medium full flavors that remain understated despite the ripeness. It sounds odd to describe a wine as subtly powerful but this is discreet in character yet with sneaky punch and length. In a word, terrific. This vies with the Bonnes Mares as the best of the Drouhin ’03s.
