A ripe and distinctly earthy nose is comprised by notes of poached plum, dark raspberry and a whiff of underbrush character. The rich and quite suave medium weight flavors possess both good volume and better mid-palate density, all wrapped in a firm, dusty and robust finale. This is also very good though here, at least some patience is in order as the finish is noticeably firmer. (90-93)/2033+
