Chateauneuf du Pape “Le Tradition” (0.75 L)

A smaller production cuvée made with the idea of early drinking, the 2024 Châteauneuf Du Pape Le Tradition is based on 70% Grenache and 30% Mourvèdre from 80% sandy Safre soils and 20% galets roulés, fully destemmed and aged 14 months in foudre. Smoky redand black fruits, crushed stone,and pepper are just some of the nuances here. It’s medium-bodied, with a pure, layered, elegant mouthfeel, ripe tannins,and outstanding length. With roughly 666 cases produced, it’s beautifully done and a terrific classiccuvée in the making.
